Dewatering and shoring Projects:
Over 40 Dewatering and over 30 Shoring projects have been completed by
. The Dewatering Projects included lowering of ground water ranging from 3m to 12m and in locations in close proximity to sea shore. The Shoring Projects included Excavation Support System upto 15m deep excavations.
The major Projects include the following:
- Design and installation of Deep excavation Support System for 12m deep excavation of City Tower Lahore (cantilever wall system). 900 mm f 20m length contiguous piles were installed.
- Design and installation of Deep Excavation Support System for 12m deep excavation at Lahore Stock Exchange project (Anchored Wall System). Contiguous piles of 600mm f upto 16m pile length were installed with anchors installed (12m length) at 4 m from top level.
- Design and installation of Excavation Support System with Contiguous Piles and one level of anchors for 9m deep excavation at SIUT Hospital, Karachi.
- Design and installation of Excavation Support System with 3 levels of anchors for 12m deep excavation at Orchid Tower Clifton Karachi.
- Design of Excavation Support System with 4 levels of anchors for 14m deep excavation at Emporium Mall Lahore.
- Design and installation of Dewatering System for excavation for Raw Water Booster at Guju for PTA plant Karachi. The pit size was 26x20m while ground water was to be lowered from existing level of 0.5m to 6.2m depth. The dewatering was accomplished by installing 30 Nos. shallow wells (10m depth) of 100mm PVC strainer in 200mm borehole.
- Design and installation of Dewatering System for excavation for construction of basement of ABN Amro Bank site, Karachi. The pit size was 60x60m while ground water was to be lowered from existing level of 2m to 5m depth. The dewatering was accomplished by installation of a combination for main (560 mm f bore, 250mm PVC strainer, 11m depth) and secondary wells (300 mm f bore, 150mm f PVC strainer,11m depth).
- Design and installation of Dewatering System for Defence Cricket Stadium, Karachi. The pit size was 70×70 while ground water was to be lowered from existing level of 2m to 6m depth. The dewatering was accomplished by installation of shallow wells (200mm f bore, 100mm f PVC strainer, 11m depth).
- Design of Dewatering System for 6m deep excavation at Creek Vista, DHA, Karachi. Over 400 wells were installed and operated.
- Design and Installation of Dewatering System for 6m deep excavation at Creek Marina DHA, Karachi. (8 Building Towers, over 350 wells installed and operated).
- Design of Dewatering System for 6m deep excavation at Dolman Center Clifton, Karachi.
- Design and installation of Dewatering System for 550m long Seawater Intake channel upto 15m depth & Pump House upto 15m depth, at KESC 560 MW Bin Qasim Combine Cycle Power Project, Karachi. Original Ground water level at 2.75m from NGL.
- Design and Installation of Dewatering System for Construction of Basement at Turkish Consulate Building, Clifton Karachi.
- Design and installation of Deep Excavation Support System (Sea front) and Dewatering for 12m deep excavation for Seawater intake Structure, COGEN project for Siemens at DHA, Karachi.
